Six Nations representation in the NLL

By Josh Giles Writer The National Lacrosse League is host to the best lacrosse players in the world who converge on turf facing off against each other. The league has an amazing number of Indigenous players, including several from Six Nations. In fact, the athletes from Six Nations alone account for nearly 5 percent of the total athletes who come to compete in the NLL. Let’s take a look. Starting on the west coast the San Diego Seals have 21-year-old Austin Staats in his sophomore season with the Seals. In his first year with San Diego, Staats had a very productive season when he earned himself 32 goals and 29 assists for 61 points. He’s ever so slightly increased his production this year with 26 points in only 5 games…
