Travis Longboat and Tyson Bomberry make the most of their first NLL season

By Josh Giles Writer Travis Longboat and Tyson Bomberry were part of the young core that made up the New York Riptide offense in the NLL. It was a new team, with new players, and a new experience for Longboat and Bomberry. But the good thing is, they were able to make the best of it. “My first year was quite the eye opener,” said Longboat, “Everyone was bigger, and it took a lot of progress to build team chemistry. It was something I had to get used to.” Meanwhile Bomberry had a fairly similar experience. “It wasn’t what we wanted in terms of wins and losses but it was an amazing experience regardless.
