Work with business, not in spite of it

Six Nations Band Council has hired a legal team to develop “guidelines” or what it is loosely calling a “Code of Conduct” in an attempt to control how Six Nations economy will re-open. Their concern is a flood of customers hitting the community once the checkpoints come down duplicating the hoards of customers that hit all at once after the elected chief told the world through a radio announcement the community was shutting down that day. Now barring any duplication of that move lifting the checkpoints will bring in customers without any question. Much needed customers. And with health procedures in place including social distancing it may very look like there is a huge crowd in the community because people may be standing in lines. But the “Code of Conduct”…
