Eight months into what is a first term for almost half the council, Six Nations Elected Band Council (SNEC) has lost its way. Council policy appears to have disappeared and might makes right has taken over the council floor. Divisions based on ageism have taken root and no one is playing nice. Veteran councillors have been accused of being in conflicts and unprofessional by at least one newbie councillor, adding up to a council needing a course in not only how to be a politician but in council decorum.
