NLL releases offseason dates

By Josh Giles Writer The offseason in many sports leagues is a hectic time of signing, trading and drafting players, and the NLL is no different. Shortly after announcing the cancelation of the season, and that they would not proceed with playoffs, they have since announced dates for the offseason. The offseason officially began on Monday, June 29 at 12 p.m. when the roster transaction freeze will end for a brief three day period. In the span of 72-hours, teams will get the opportunity to add, “Practice Players to the Active Roster for the purpose of retaining their services, release players, and agree with a Practice Player to a Protected Practice Player Contract,” according to a league press release.
