Steven LaForme excited to be heading to Ottawa

By Josh Giles Writer Steven LaForme of Six Nations of the Grand was drafted by the North Bay Battalion a little over a year ago, but spent the season with the Hamilton Kilty B’s instead. Now he is heading up to our nation’s capital to play for arguably the best team in the OHL in the Ottawa 67’s. He couldn’t be more excited. Before the trade occurred, LaForme already heard whispers about the transaction. “I kind of saw it coming before it happened. Ottawa reached out to North Bay and to my agent about the potential of me being traded there,” he told Turtle Island News.
