Iroquois Nationals Men’s team fighting to the 2021 world games

By Josh Giles Writer The Iroquois Nationals were the fifth nation to join International lacrosse play, and have been playing internationally since 1986, but are now not being allowed to participate in the 2022 World Games in Birmingham, Alabama. Over 25,000 people have signed a petition demanding that the Iroquois Nationals be permitted to play in the 2022 World Games in Birmingham, Ala., after the team learned it had not been invited to the multisport competition as the sport of lacrosse tries to be included in larger events like the Olympics.
