Protest, lawsuit, cannabis commission? It’s vacation time

There’s a Six Nations protest going on in Caledonia. It is now a week old. The community, like the rest of the world is dealing with the COVID-19 pandemic. The Six Nations Elected Council’s (SNEC) cannabis commission, if it still exists, is operating with only two known members…a conflict with its regulations. If its regulations exist. A new Senior Operations Officer takes over the helm August 3rd (congrats to Darren Jamieson by the way) along with a new finance director. And if that isn’t enough to fill a council’s plate there’s a little thing called a lawsuit dangling over their heads after SNEC sent out a peculiar press release calling for the resignation of the Six Nations Police Commission chairman, but still hasn’t told anyone why.
