Six Nations holding virtual sports and craft camps

By Josh Giles Writer Six Nations of the Grand River Elected Council have put on a sports and crafts camp this week that runs from August 17-21 to keep the youth of Six Nations engaged in physical activities. The events range from a number of sports that children and teens alike can partake in. According to Jocelyn Byrne who is helping organize the events, there will be plenty for the kids to do. “We’re doing our summer camps virtually this year. Sports and crafts are the theme. There’s two age groups and we’re dropping off a basketball, soccer ball and a football to their houses so they can participate in the events.” They are also teaching some very cool crafts and lessons that have to do with the medicine game,…
