ISWO celebrates one year away from Masters Indigenous Games

By Josh Giles Writer The Masters Indigenous Games (MIG) are set to take place in about a year in Ottawa, and the excitement is building. MIG and Indigenous Sports and Wellness Ontario (ISWO) celebrated the occasion with an event to recognize and showcase some of the amazing attractions and games that people can see. The event was broadcasted through CBC for people who couldn’t be there in person and started with ISWO’s Christina Rutty welcoming everyone to the event and talking about how excited they are. “We are so excited one year out to the 2021 Masters Indigenous Games in the Nation’s Capital from August 5 to August 8,” she said.
