Shayna and Neilson Powless make cycling a family business By Josh Giles Writer Shayna and Neilson Powless have been surrounded by athletes their entire life. With a father who was an Iron Man, and a mother who was a marathon runner in the 1992 Olympics, both Powless siblings have found a knack for cycling, and they are really good at it. Growing up in Roseville, California, both Shayna and Neilson played a variety of sports, but they both found a passion for cycling. “I pretty much started riding bikes for as long as I could walk,” said Shayna, “Both my brother and I started at such a young age.” Their parents put both of them into a variety of sports to see what they liked, and what worked for them….
