Iroquois Nationals will play at the 2022 World Games

By Josh Giles Writer Thanks to a world-wide lacrosse community and the intervention of Ireland Lacrosse the Iroquois Nationals have been invited to play in the 2022 World Games. The invitation didn’t come easy. World Games organizers hadn’t given a thought to inviting the team to play the game, their ancestors invented over a thousand years ago, too compete despite the Iroquois Nationals finishing third in international play and Ireland placing 12th. But World Games organizers snubbed the team and that just didn’t sit well with the international lacrosse community.
