Turtle Island Lacrosse launches first camp in Six Nations

By Josh Giles Writer Six Nations is the home to Randy Staats and Brendan Bomberry, who both helped launch a program called Turtle Island Lacrosse to share the game with everyone. This past weekend saw the first fruits of their labour, as they launched their first lacrosse camp in Six Nations. The weekend long event saw a little under 100 kids come over the course of the entire weekend to learn lacrosse from some of the best. But as the event was about to begin, Staats was a little nervous. “It’s nerve racking. We want to keep everyone safe and have everything organized to go as smoothly as possible. It’s what we’re shooting for and we’re waiting.” They took all the precautions needed in order to have a good time….
