Six Nations slowly re-opening outdoor facilities

By Josh Giles Writer With Six Nations is in phase 2.5, things have started to re-open slowly but surely, and Parks and Recreation announced recently announced some outdoor facilities becoming available. In a press release, Parks and Recreation said the sports fields, running track and ball hockey rink have become available on September 28, 2020. But there will still be a few other outdoor facilities that will remain closed. “The Splash Pad and Softball Diamonds will remain closed because their regular seasons (primarily summer months) of operation have passed for 2020. The Skate Park will remain closed, because it promotes a high risk for community members to possibly be injured,” they said.
