Upper Deck releasing Indigenous Rookie Cards

They announced recently a whole new lineup of rookie cards for Indigenous players who have never had a card of their own. Chris Carlin works at Upper Deck and came up with the idea after seeing Naim Cardinal’s collection of Indigenous hockey players. The collection was presented on a YouTube show called ‘Sports Cards Live.’ “I was blown away by his selection. His set up was different. I was so impressed that I had him talk about his collection and brought it back to my product development team,” Carlin said.
