Angelina Bomberry wins Wendy Cathcart Bursary

By Josh Giles Sports Writer Angelina Bomberry is only 19-years-old in age, but has already accomplished so much in her young life thanks to her hard work, and softball. Most recently, she became the recipient of the Wendy Cathcart Bursary to help further her athletic and academic career. Bomberry has a natural knack for baseball. She has now been playing baseball and softball for 11-years. She started her career in 2009 playing with the Six Nations Lil Storm Atom ‘A’ team where she immediately won the Erie League and ORSA Championships.
