The Premier Lacrosse League (PLL) burst onto the scene with great success, and now they will be merging with Major League Lacrosse (MLL) to create one big outdoor game. The announcement was made on December 16 with a lot of positive fanfare. Both leagues will be operating under the PLL banner, but the MLL will still have their two decades worth of experience felt, and hopefully grow off of it. “As a part of the merger, the PLL will immediately expand to include the Boston Cannons as the PLL’s eight team, under the rebranded name Cannons Lacrosse Club.
