January 8: The Six Nations Snipers show flashes of their eventual potential as they lost their third straight game to start the ALL season in a 15-12 loss to the Oshawa Outlaws. January 15: Athlete Institute and the ISWO hosted basketball tryouts for Team Ontario. It was the first of two tryouts to find the best players in the province to compete at the North American Indigenous Games. January 22: The Six Nations Arrows were busy holding an awards banquet, training camps and then a draft where they eventually drafted Kaleb Malyon, Connor Link, Nolan Rutty and Marchel Woods.
