Ireland Lacrosse Awarded Musial Award

By Josh Giles Writer Ireland Lacrosse made history over the summer when they willingly gave up their position in the World Games to ease the pathway for the Iroquois Nationals to compete. For their selfless act, they received a Musial Award. The Musial Awards celebrate extraordinary sportsmanship and character in sports, and Ireland Lacrosse also made history in earning the first Musial Award outside of North America. The awards were given out on December 26, the presentation was also aired on December 28, and 29. Ireland Lacrosse was in prestigious company alongside NASCAR’s Bubba Wallace, the Kansas City Chiefs Laurent Duvernay-Tardif, and even Hank Aaron.
