Premier Lacrosse League announces protected rosters

By Josh Giles Writer The beginning of March marked the day when the Premier Lacrosse League (PLL) coaches had to choose which players on their roster to protect. Each team had to choose 14 players on each team that were off limits for the 2021 Expansion Draft with the Cannons Lacrosse Club set to select their roster, but they are limited to three players from each team. This still leaves 64 potential players up for grabs for the Cannons LC to pluck at their whim, which could leave some potential holes in lineups. One such player that was left unprotected is Miles Thompson of the Chaos LC. Being one of the Thompson brothers, he is a talented attackman, but at 30-years-old there’s no real knowing how much he has left…
