Edmonton Oilers donate $273,590 for Indigenous sport

The Edmonton Oilers Foundation has done some good in the Indigenous communities in Alberta, and their latest fundraiser is just another example of that.

By Josh Giles Writer The Edmonton Oilers recently held their Hockey is for Everyone game where they won in a thrilling overtime victory against the Toronto Maple Leafs. But what they also did was raise $273,590 for Indigenous sport charities in Alberta. “The #HockeyIsForEveryone 50/50 is underway with net proceeds supporting Right To Play & Spirit North who will use the power of sport to help improve the health & well-being of Indigenous youth in Northern Alberta,” the Oilers Foundation announced.
