Cannabis industry is growing…all around us

After three years Six Nations still doesn’t have a bustling cannabis industry in the community. But there are a lot of bills and a projected budget that has estimated the Six Nations Cannabis Commission (SNCC) paper costs at up to $3 million.Costs that don’t include any buildings or infrastructure which will push the costs even further into the millions. In the meantime the controversial board, with its on again off again commission members, is $800,000 in debt and expects that debt to hit $1.4 million within a few months.Debt we have learned that is being paid out of the community’s Brantford casino $4.5 million lease monies.
