“Smudge, Snipe, Celly!” Hockey Brand celebrates First Nations culture

Growing up in rec hockey, Harlan was told by his grandfather once before a play-off game to smudge his hockey stick and skates. It quickly became routine for Harlan to smudge his gear before games. Smudge the Blades was a dream of Harlan’s for years before he launched his brand this past fall, quickly gaining popularity across Canada. Canadian Hockey Olympian, Brigette Lacquette was quick to want to support Harlan’s brand, sporting it on her social media.
