Larocque invited to Olympic Camp

Larocque is hoping to represent Canada in the second straight Winter Olympics.

With the Beijing Winter Olympics happening next year, Team Canada is starting its search for their hockey team. Inviting 28 players to come and compete for one of the 25 roster spots, one Indigenous player was invited, and one was absent from the list. Jocelyn Larocque highlighted one of the three defensemen that were invited to return and potentially compete at the Olympics. The 32-year-old Métis player previously represented Canada at the 2018 Sochi Olympic Games where she took part in winning a silver medal for Team Canada. On top of that, she has represented Canada in multiple forms, including with the International Ice Hockey Federation (IIHF).
