TLL holds first ever draft

The TLL have created something special in only a few months, and had a very successful first-ever draft.

By Josh Giles Writer The Tewaaraton Lacrosse League (TLL) held their first ever draft last Thursday night. For 15 rounds teams could select the players they wanted to add to their team in hopes of building them up. The draft was an ‘S’ style one, meaning the team that picked first in the first round would pick last in the next round, giving everyone a level playing ground to start their inaugural season. The Six Nations Arrows were lucky enough to land the first pick in the draft lottery and used it to pick up Alex Simmons. Simmons averaged about 6 points a game in college, and was picked second in the Major Series Lacrosse (MSL) Draft this year as well. The Arrows next 14 picks were Landon Kells, Matthew…
