Edmonton re-names football team

The Elks decided to keep their iconic colour scheme, while changing their primary logo.

After much deliberation and fan input, the Edmonton Elks have been introduced as the newest franchise in the Canadian Football League (CFL). It has been a nearly a year long journey that saw the team switch their name from their Eskimos moniker to become the Elks.
