NLL announces realigned conferences

The NLL will divide up the teams into East and West conferences for the upcoming season.

The National Lacrosse League (NLL) has been busy preparing for their 2021-22 season in December from bringing new teams into the fold, to television deals, and now realigned conferences. They made the important announcement last Wednesday. “The National Lacrosse League, the largest and most successful professional lacrosse property in the world, will officially start its 35th season with Face Off Weekend, December 3-4, 2021, with six games across North America, highlighting a series of exciting changes for 2021-22,” they said, “A new two-Conference format, extending playoffs, and the inaugural season of Panther City Lacrosse Club are among the changes in the upcoming season,” a statement said.
