Chiefs participating in five-week Major Series Lacrosse Classic

The Chiefs are participating in the Major Series Lacrosse (MSL) Classic, a five-week tournament which kicked off on July 27 and continues until Aug. 6. MSL officials had announced this past May that due to the ongoing pandemic, the circuit was cancelling its entire season for a second consecutive year. But then last month MSL reps revealed there would indeed be some live action involving league participants in 2021. Five of the six MSL clubs are participating in the event. All tournament contests are being staged at the Toronto Rock Athletic Centre in Oakville. Teams will play all other tourney entrants twice, resulting in an eight-game schedule for each side.
