Six Nations Health Services have earned Canada Accreditations

By Victoria Gray Writer Six Nations Health Services is celebrating accreditation of many of its departments. Janet Gapsarelli, portfolio lead for health services told the Six Nations Elected Council Human Services Committee at its meeting on Wednesday that heath services earned Canada Accreditations in June and it was their biggest accomplishment for the month. “We did manage to be successful and have been accredited. If we manage to get a couple standards met by December, we’ll move to accredited with commendation,” she said. Gasparelli did not say what standards need to be met before the commendation status and did not respond to emails. Six Nations of the Grand River Health Services, Head Office, Gane Yohs Health Centre, Iroquois Lodge, Jay Silverheels Complex are all listed on the Accreditation Canada website…
