SN Grand River Development Corp in Community Awareness spirit

By Victoria Gray Writer Community Awareness Month is in full swing on Six Nations. The Six Nations of the Grand River Development Corporation (SNGRDC) held a drive-thru barbecue at the Gathering Place by the Grand on August 4th to let people know what’s happening at SNGRDC and give back to the community. Due to COVID-19 a community barbecue event was too risky, so the corporation decided to do the event a different way. SNGRDC staff stuffed drawstring bags with pop, chips, condiments, a hotdog and other swag and handed them into cars as they stopped at the front doors of the Gathering Place.
