MBW holds on first John Styres Memorial Run

By Josh Giles Writer Mind Body Whole (MBW) is an organization created by Matt Whitlow to help with recovery from addictions. On Wednesday, August 18 they hosted their first every John Styres Memorial Run on Mohawk Road, and the turnout was incredible. Whitlow, a former drug addict, has found focus in running after the loss of his friend. “I lost a bro due to drugs, and what the drugs bring to that type of life. After he left, I went to running which keeps me away from the drugs. It allows me to focus on myself and keeps me clear minded and keeps me connected on Mother Earth,” he told Turtle Island News.
