SNEC hiding behind closed doors

By Lynda Powless, Editor Six Nations Elected Council (SNEC) decided back in March to give Six Nations Polytechnic $8 and a half million of the community’s dollars. And they did it in secret. They went behind closed doors with president/CEO Rebecca Jamieson to discuss the “loan” and came to a decision to spend the whopping amount of public dollars with only councillor Helen Miller objecting asking where the money will come from. And adding fuel to the fire,no mention of Six Nations involvement in helping the educational institution secure a building in Brantford was ever made public.
