Jocelyne Larocque wins gold with Canada

Jocelyne Larocque (Centre) was an important part of Team Canada’s victory, and there’s no doubt that they were happy to have had her on the roster for the tournament.

By Josh Giles Writer Entering the IIFH Women’s Championship Jocelyne Larocque was part of a victorious Team Canada Women’s Team that took home the gold. Being an alternate captain on the roster, this was an opportunity for her to step up as one of the longstanding veterans on the team. The fierce 33-year-old defender has become a staple for her team throughout the tournament as she locked down offenses.
