Zed Williams keeps Whipsnakes alive

By Josh Giles Writer The Whipsnakes of the Premier Lacrosse League (PLL) are defending their championship in the midst of a very competitive playoff series. They’re one win away from punching their tickets back into the Championship Game, and they can thank reigning PLL MVP Zed Williams for getting them there. Entering the quarter-finals, the Whipsnakes were set to face off against the Redwoods. Both teams very talented, but the Whipsnakes just scraped out with a 14-13 victory on the back of Williams 9-point performance.
