Spirit North gets huge donation from Sun Life

By Josh Giles Writer Spirit North has truly become one of the great Indigenous sport charities in Canada, and they have just received $400,000 of support from Sun Life. This will no doubt help Spirit North in their pursuit to grow sports opportunities for Indigenous youth. Sun Life made the announcement on Thursday, September 16. “To support health programming for Indigenous children and youth, Sun Life is pleased to announce a $400,000 donation to Spirit North,” they said, “Through sport and play, Spirit North works to empower children and youth.
