Terry Fox Run big success

By Turtle Island News staff Their inspiration is…inspiring. A group of 25 people who call themselves the Six Miles Inspiring Friends Team joined thousands around the country commemorating the Terry Fox’s Marathon of Hope Run. The run, at the Six Nations sports track on Fourth Line raised about $295 for the Terry Fox Run and gave participants a chance to support each other, some who lost family members to cancer. Miles General organized the run and said his inspiration came from his grandmother who lost her life to cancer.
