Hall of Fame induction comes earlier than anticipated for Styres

By Sam Laskaris Writer OHSWEKEN – Glenn Styres has long aspired to get inducted into the Canadian Motorsport Hall of Fame. But Styres, who owns Ohsweken Speedway and has won numerous racing championships himself, didn’t think it would happen so quickly. The 57-year-old was one of 16 individuals who were recently announced as being upcoming inductees into the hall of fame. Hall officials are hoping to stage an in-person induction ceremony this coming February, at the Canadian International Auto Show in Toronto. The plan is to also honour the 15 individuals who were chosen as 2020 hall of fame inductees next February.
