Joyce Echaquan didn’t have to die

Géhane Kamel the Quebec Coroner’s report on the death of Joyce Echaquan sent a clear message to Quebec systemic racism played a damning role in her death. Yet still the Legault government denies systemic racism exists in the province. Joyce Echaquan died of pulmonary edema that was linked to a rare heart condition but the coroner found she died accidently but it was an accident that didn’t have to happen.
