Six Nations goes orange on National Day for Truth and Reconcilliation

By Victoria Gray Writer James Burning has spent decades trying to raise awareness about the treatment of students in residential schools and he’s glad Six Nations Elected Council (SNEC) is helping this year. SNEC mailed post cards to every member of the community that they could return for an Every Child Matters flag and lawn sign in recognition of Orange Shirt Day and the new federal holiday, the National Day of Truth and Reconciliation (NDTR).
