Six Nations coach leads Brock University to CUFLA championship in his rookie year

By Sam Laskaris Writer Vince Longboat managed to add a prestigious accomplishment to his coaching resume in just his first season at the university level. Longboat, a Six Nations member, served as the head coach of the Brock University Badgers men’s lacrosse squad this year. The Badgers captured the Baggataway Cup, the championship for the Canadian University Field Lacrosse Association, this past Sunday. Brock required overtime to defeat the Guelph Gryphons 10-9 in the championship final, which was held at North Bay’s Nipissing University.
