Good samaritans become robbery victims

BRANT COUNTY, ON-Brant County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) are investigating a robbery that saw two “good samaritans” stop to help in a two vehicle accident only to steal one of the vehicles Sunday, November 15, 2021. OPP said the two vehicle collision on Cockshutt Road occurred at about 3:38 p.m. Sunday. The OPP were responding to the accident when they received an update that a robbery occurred at the scene of the collision. OPP said a passerby stopped to assist those in the accident when a passenger in the passerby vehicle was forcibly removed by one of people involved in the motor vehicle collision, who then fled the scene in that vehicle.
