MCLean Day School Settlement Corp looking to meet with survivors

The McLean Day School Settlement Corporation (MDSSC) is looking for engagement from survivors to give input on how to focus its efforts to manage the Legacy Fund. Claudette Commanda, MDSSC CEO attended Six Nations Elected Council’s (SNEC) Political Liaison Committee meeting on November 22 to ask councillors to help them connect with survivors the Indian Day Schools through virtual engagement sessions, online forms, email forms and mail in forms. “Encouraging your community to participate in the engagement sessions is so important. I’m a firm believer it has to be survivor lead and survivor driven,” Commanda said.
