Snipers’ Arena Lacrosse League regular season opener postponed until 2022

By Sam Laskaris Writer Several members of the Six Nations Snipers still found themselves at the Iroquois Lacrosse Arena (ILA) this past Sunday. But they had to settle for simply taking part in a team practice. That’s because two days earlier officials with the Arena Lacrosse League (ALL) announced that all of its matches for its season-opening weekend in the Ontario-based East Division would be postponed due to the number of rising COVID cases in the province. The Snipers had been scheduled to kick off their 2021-22 campaign on Sunday with an afternoon contest versus the Toronto Monarchs. A total of four ALL matches were postponed this past weekend.
