By Victoria Gray Writer Six Nations Elected Council’s offices and programs reopened on January 31, coinciding with the province’s COVID-19 restrictions loosening. Communication coordinator Duane Jacobs confirmed SNEC staff are back in the office as of Monday and most programs are running at a 50 per cent capacity with COVID-19 protocols still in place. Those protocols include hand sanitizing, wearing a mask and physical distancing. Meeting spaces and the Bingo Hall will also operate at 50 per cent as well as outdoor and indoor recreation. Federal elementary Schools on Six Nations are scheduled to reopen on Feb. 14. Six Nations restaurants can open their indoor dining rooms at 50 per cent capacity with distancing.
