Several Six Nations players in running to compete at major international lacrosse events

By Sam Laskaris Writer There should be plenty of Six Nations representation at a pair of major women’s international lacrosse tournaments this year. The Haudenosaunee Women’s Lacrosse program announced the 26 individuals who are on a list of training pool players still being considered for its teams that will participate at the world women’s lacrosse championships that begins in late June and the World Games in August. Eight Six Nations women are still vying for eventual spots on the Haudenosaunee teams for those events. They are Tiana Bomberry, Timmia Bomberry, Sierra Cockerille, Jalyn Jimerson, Lynnzee Miller, Fawn Porter, Katie Smith and Ewehegwahs Williams.
