Snipers take over sole possession of first place in ALL standings

By Sam Laskaris Writer Thanks in part to another impressive offensive display, the Six Nations Snipers find themselves in sole possession of first place in the Arena Lacrosse League standings. The Snipers boosted their record to 5-2 thanks to a convincing 19-12 victory over the Whitby Steelhawks this past Saturday. That match was staged at Children’s Arena in Oshawa. A couple of hours after registering their win, the Snipers found out the Peterborough Timbermen were downed 15-12 by the Paris RiverWolves, in a contest also held at Children’s Arena. With that result, the Timbermen saw their record fall to 4-2. The Peterborough team, which had started the season with four consecutive victories, is now in second place, two points behind the front-running Snipers.
