And it was obvious early on the Six Nations Snipers were keen to maintain sole possession of top spot in the Arena Lacrosse League (ALL) standings. The Snipers improved their league-leading mark to 6-2 thanks to a lopsided 18-6 triumph over the Paris RiverWolves on Sunday in a match staged in Hagersville at the Iroquois Lacrosse Arena (ILA). A RiverWolves’ victory would have meant the Paris and Six Nations squads would have been tied atop the standings with identical 5-3 records. Instead, with the setback, the RiverWolves saw their mark fall to 4-4. Three other squads in the seven-team ALL also are sporting 4-4 records.
