By Sam Laskaris Writer The Women’s Arena Lacrosse League (WALL) champions will be crowned this weekend at the Iroquois Lacrosse Arena (ILA) in Hagersville. This will mark the first time since 2019 that the women’s league has staged its championship. The pandemic forced the cancellation of the conclusion of the2020 campaign. And it also forced the entire 2021 season to be wiped out. Though the start of the current season was pushed back a couple of times, the four WALL entrants managed to play a full 10-game regular season schedule. The league played all of its contests out of the ILA. The Lady Snipers ended up atop the standings with a record of 8-1-1. The Lady Steelhawks were next in line with a mark of 7-3-0.
