Dunnville man charged with arson in truck fire

HALDIMAND COUNTY, ON – Haldimand County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) have charged a Dunnville man with Arson-Damage to Property after a vehicle fire on Broad Street in Dunnville March 22, 2022 at 8:39 p.m..

 OPP, Haldimand County Fire Services and Haldimand County Emergency Medical Services (EMS) responded to March 22, 2022 vehicle fire  and upon arrival found a pickup truck parked at the residence had sustained extensive damage to the cab as a result of the fire with only the bed of the pickup truck still intact. As a result of the investigation, police have charged Craig A. Worrall, 55, of Dunnville with Arson – Damage to Property. Worrall was held for a bail hearing and will appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Cayuga at a later date to answer to the charge.

OPP continue to investigate and is asking anyone who may have noticed any suspicious persons or vehicles in the area of the fire or have any information to assist with the investigation to contact them at 1-888-310-1122.
