Six Nations man charged in triple homicide breaches bail

SIX NATIONS-A Six Nations man awaiting trial on an accessory charge in the triple homicide of Six Nations people in 2018, was charged again after breaking his bail conditions. On March 22, 2022 Vernon B. Shipman, 33, was arrested and charged with breach of a release order. Shipman breached a non-contact order. Police said a woman contacted police saying she was contacted through social media from a man who is on conditions not to communicate with her. Shipman is facing accessory to murder charges and his trial is scheduled to start on April 4. Police investigated the non-contact matter and said six days later, on Tuesday March 22, 2022 Shipman turned himself in. He will return to court on April 22 to answer to the breach of release charge.
